IIS hosting support for the servers your team can’t touch
We look after websites and applications hosted on IIS and Windows Server: monthly patching, uptime and certificate monitoring, application pool and log hygiene, and planned moves off Windows Server versions that are leaving support.
Resolved in 14 minutes. Your team slept through it.
Why it matters now
IIS itself rarely fails. What fails is everything around it: an expired certificate, an application pool identity whose password changed, a disk filled by logs, or a server that quietly stopped receiving security updates because its Windows Server version reached end of support.
Many corporate estates still run on Windows Server 2012 R2 or 2016. The final paid security updates for 2012 R2 end in October 2026, and 2016 leaves extended support in January 2027. We map every server against those dates, keep them patched in the meantime and move sites to supported versions or to Azure App Service on a plan you agree.
Signs you need this
Some servers still run Windows Server 2012 R2 or 2016
Windows, IIS, .NET Framework and runtime updates tested on staging, then applied in an agreed window.
02
Certificates and bindings
SSL expiry monitored and renewals automated where possible, with bindings checked after every change.
03
Application pools
Identities, recycling and crash alerts reviewed, so a changed password never takes a site down at 2am.
04
Logs and disks
Log rotation and disk-space alerts, so a full disk is a ticket, not an outage.
05
Hardening
TLS settings, security headers, request filtering and unused modules removed, documented for your auditors.
06
Upgrade path
A dated plan to move each site to a supported Windows Server version or to Azure App Service.

IIS hosting: questions, answered
Can you work in our data centre rather than the cloud?
Yes. We work through your VPN or jump hosts with named accounts, inside your change-management process.
What if a server cannot be upgraded straight away?
We isolate and harden it, monitor it closely and agree a dated replacement plan, so the risk is known and time-limited.
Do you move sites to Azure?
Where it fits. Many IIS sites move cleanly to Azure App Service; others are better on a new Windows Server VM first. We recommend per site after the audit.
