SaaS and MVP development: web apps built around the job your users need done

We design and build browser-based software, from a focused MVP to a multi-tenant SaaS product, with accounts, roles, payments and integrations. Most first releases take twelve to sixteen weeks.

Who it’s for, and who it isn’t

A good fit
  • Founders launching a product, and teams that have outgrown off-the-shelf tools.
  • Your team runs the business from shared spreadsheets
  • Customers email you for information they could look up themselves
Probably not for you
  • Ideas that have not yet been tested with a single customer (start with a prototype)
  • Projects where an existing off-the-shelf tool already fits

What changes

For the people using it

The guide

Building a web app or SaaS product that scales

A web app does work for its users: customer portals, internal dashboards, booking platforms and subscription software. The hard parts are rarely the screens. They are accounts and permissions, billing, data and the integrations with tools you already pay for.

We design the data model and architecture first, then build in two-week increments with a working staging link from week two. Multi-tenant SaaS, single sign-on, Stripe billing and audit logs are standard patterns in our toolkit.

Signs you need this

  • Your team runs the business from shared spreadsheets
  • Customers email you for information they could look up themselves
  • Off-the-shelf tools almost fit, with manual work in between
  • You have a product idea and early customers waiting

A product worth building properly

At this level it pays to design accounts, billing and tenant isolation properly from day one. We would scope an MVP around the core job.

Assumes a $49 monthly subscription and no churn; your own pricing will differ.

Risks we remove

What usually goes wrong with web apps & saas projects, and what we do about it.

01

Building features nobody uses

The MVP is scoped to one core job, with everything else on a roadmap agreed together.

02

Data leaking between customers

Tenant isolation is designed into the data model from day one and tested before launch.

03

Being locked in to one developer

You own the code and accounts, with documentation and a deploy runbook at handover.

Worked example

A typical MVP

A founder with ten pilot customers wants to replace a spreadsheet-and-email service with a portal. We start with a two-week discovery: the core job, the data model and a clickable prototype tested with three pilot customers.

The build runs in two-week increments with a staging link from week two. Accounts, the core workflow, Stripe billing and a basic admin panel ship first; reporting and integrations follow once usage data justifies them.

An illustrative example of how we would run this kind of project, not a client case study.

Web Apps & SaaS: questions, answered

What should my MVP include?
The smallest set of features that lets a real customer complete the core job and pay for it. Everything else goes on a roadmap we agree together.
Can you integrate with our CRM or ERP?
Yes. We connect to tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Xero and NetSuite through their APIs, with queued, retry-safe syncing.
How do you handle security?
Role-based access, encrypted data, audit logs and regular dependency updates as standard, with SSO and SOC 2-style controls where you need them.
How does pricing work?
After a free scoping call you get a written proposal setting out the scope, the cost and a planned timeline, so you know what you are agreeing to before work starts.
Do I own what you build?
Yes. Code, designs, content and accounts are yours from day one, in accounts you control.
